Our Projects
01.
— Paathshala
Project Paathshala focuses on providing quality education to children in slums and vulnerable communities. Our team of passionate volunteers and interns visit these children every Sunday — not just to teach them, but to become their friends, guides, and role models. This strong interpersonal bond helps foster confidence, creativity, and a lifelong enthusiasm for learning — preparing them for a future filled with opportunity.
02.
— Unnati
Unnati is a collective initiative by our team of volunteers and interns to raise awareness about crucial social issues and enable financial independence. We do this by organizing campaigns, rallies, marathons, educational events, talent shows, and Nukkad Nataks (street plays) — turning creativity into a powerful medium for spreading knowledge. Our team also focuses on food distribution and sanitation drives to aid vulnerable communities and ease their struggles.
03.
— Suraksha
Suraksha is our effort to make children and women feel safe and confident. We organize workshops on self-defense, safety awareness, and legal rights, especially in underprivileged communities. Through street plays, group sessions, and awareness drives, we teach children and families how to protect themselves and stand up for what’s right. Our goal is to create a world where no one feels unsafe — at home, in school, or on the streets.
04.
—Food Distribution
At Nanhe Pakshi, we believe no one should sleep hungry. Through our Food Distribution program, we provide cooked meals and ration kits to those in need — including children, the elderly, daily-wage workers, and homeless families. Whether during festivals, emergencies, or regular days, our team and volunteers ensure food reaches where it’s needed the most. A full stomach brings hope, and that’s what we aim to deliver.
05.
—Clothing Initiative
Clothing is more than just a necessity — it’s a matter of dignity. Our Clothing Initiative strives to provide new, clean, and well-fitted clothes to children, women, and families in need. We make sure the clothing is appropriate for their size, the climate, and their preferences — honoring their dignity and helping them feel valued in society.
06.
—Self-Help Groups
Nanhe Pakshi helps women from underprivileged communities form Self-Help Groups where they learn skills like stitching, handicrafts, and basic money management. These groups give women a chance to earn, support their families, and become self-reliant.
Our goal is to build confidence and create strong, independent women.
