About Us
Nanhe Pakshi is not just an NGO, it’s a heartfelt mission that took its first step on 9th August 2018, led by a woman with a vision – Mrs. Pallavi Kashyap Singh, a proud alumna of Delhi University. With a spirit rooted in compassion and more than a decade of experience in social service, she began this journey with just a handful of college-going students who believed in bringing change, one child at a time.
What started small has today grown into a strong family of over 2500+ dedicated volunteers, many of whom are passionate youth from Delhi University and IP University. Standing beside her is Mr. Shubham Sharma, the Vice President, who shares the same dream and commitment to the cause.
Our Projects

—Paathshala
Project Paathshala focuses on providing quality education to children in slums and vulnerable communities. Our team of passionate volunteers and interns visit these children every Sunday — not just to teach them, but to become their friends, guides, and role models. This strong interpersonal bond helps foster confidence, creativity, and a lifelong enthusiasm for learning — preparing them for a future filled with opportunity.

—Unnati
Unnati is a collective initiative by our team of volunteers and interns to raise awareness about crucial social issues and enable financial independence. We do this by organizing campaigns, rallies, marathons, educational events, talent shows, and Nukkad Nataks (street plays) — turning creativity into a powerful medium for spreading knowledge. Our team also focuses on food distribution and sanitation drives to aid vulnerable communities and ease their struggles.

—Suraksha
Suraksha aims to empower vulnerable women and children by teaching them self-defense, financial literacy, and employment skills — helping them become independent and break free from financial dependency. We also provide legal aid and guidance to enable them to assert their rights, strengthening their confidence and ability to contribute to society.

We work for the upliftment of underprivileged sections of the society
who are an important part for the development of the nation as a whole.
NO, all the volunteering activities are unpaid. But volunteers will be
receiving other perks like certificates.
Interested candidates can apply through the website and they will be
contacted within 2-3 working days.
Nanhe Pakshi is primarily funded through donations, crowdfunding
and under CSR schemes.
Yes, we are also working in regards to the animals. Food and other
necessary things are made available to the street animals.
We accept donations of all kinds like food, clothes, uniforms,
stationary along with monetary donations.
Yes, we have all the proofs regarding the correct allocatiob of
donations like invoices, ITR’S, pictures and videos. We can even make a
direct contact between the donor and the donee.
